• Pool: Swimming pool located with views of the River.
• Game Drives: Morning and Evening Game Drives in an open vehicle (children under 8 have their own separate drive arranged unless 2 families are booking together, when a vehicle can be shared).
• Walking Safaris: Available for adults only.

Bars & Restaurants

Dine in the open plan area in the Main Lodge, overlooking the River, or in the nearby Boma around a fire, underneath the stars. Please note that no children under 12 can accompany parents when eating in the Boma for safety reasons.

Overview

The fenced camp welcomes families with a variety of activities for younger guests. Up to 2 children can share and the Lodge represents very reasonable value without compromising on quality of game viewing.

Safety

• Animals: The lodge is fenced, with some space for play within the boundaries.
• Water: There is a swimming pool on site and parents should be aware that the River runs alongside the lodge.
• Height: Since the lodge is located on the banks of a river, please be aware that there are some height issues for younger children.

Rooms types

16 thatched split-level chalets, including a Honeymoon Suite, are decorated in a traditional African style with mini bar, overhead fan and radiator for Winter with decked terrace overlooking the River.

Family

6 family rooms can accommodate up to 2 young children on a sofa bed.

All Lodges in Madikwe make a contribution to the local community by way of a monthly rental fee according to bed numbers and percentage share of profits. Three Cities also support ‘I Care’, a campaign to raise funds for the education and rehabilitation of street children and the homeless, and run a various black empowerment programmes.
